TDB Position Available

TDB is looking for dependable professionals to work for a Government Agency in the Lee’s Summit, MO area. The position will be for a Document Research Analyst working M-F and there will be two shifts available: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. There will be 120 hours of initial training. The job is described as follows, but not limited to:

  • The Document Research Analyst (Contractor) shall perform all functions relating to reviewing the request for content and consent in FIPS, to include verifying the requestor information, the type of request, and ensuring the correct file was scanned.
  • The Contractor shall perform all functions relating to reviewing and processing the responsive record, to include redacting all portions of record that cannot be released to the requestor, identifying the correct exemptions used, and identifying documents or other items in a file that require special processing. Contractor shall not process any FOIA requests involving proprietary information of other offerors who took part in this procurement.
  • The Contractor shall perform all functions relating to modifying the template letter to prepare the final action letter.

Requirements

Ideal applicants will process the following skills or requirements:

  • Applicants must have successfully completed a 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree appropriate to the position or show that they possess 1 year of specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to analyze data, conduct research, and provide written conclusive results
  • Knowledge and skill in planning for, the collection of, and interpretation of data as it relates to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts.
  • Experience and skill in written and oral communication to effectively provide direction to a variety of individuals and organizations regarding sensitive controversial issues.
  • Experience and skill in interpretation and application of regulations, laws, practices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge and skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to conduct research independently.
  • Skills in operating word processing software to create, modify and print documents electronically. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows, and other computer software.
  • Ability to gather, assemble, consolidate and analyze facts, evaluate and perform analyses on simple and complex FOIA/PA issues.
  • Ability to plan, organize and direct team study work.
  • Applicant must undergo and pass a position sensitivity analysis.
  • Applicant must be a United States citizen

Pay rate is $17.00 to $19.00
